The Stan Smith is one of adidas' most popular models and a fundamental part of adidas' success. Where the sneaker was once intended for the tennis court, the shoes are now more a lifestyle classic. With this Stan Smith collection WEAR paid tribute to the man who started it all, Stan Smith. The legendary former tennis pro is already 77 years old and it has certainly been a long time since he held a tennis racket. But the tennis court is where it all began.
RE worked closely with the WEAR team to come up with a strategy to launch the collection of refurbished Stan Smith sneakers. Once the selection had taken place and the refurbishment had been done, we could go over to the creative part. We suggested to go back to the heritage of Stan Smith and setup a photoshoot at a tennis court. RE provided its expertise in model selection, styling, location and the photography itself. Once the social media strategy was determined we could launch the collection.
